Referring patients to Busby House Dental Centre

At Busby House Dental Centre in Didcot, we appreciate that certain treatments are not readily available at many Dental Practices that is why we welcome patient referrals for Specialist Dental Treatment including; Orthodontics, Endodontics, Implants, Oral Surgery and Laser Gum Surgery.

Please note, all NHS referrals must be sent via REGO

Our Referral Promise

At Busby House, we are committed to involving you in the care we provide. When referring your patients to us, you can be assured that for every referral, we will:
  • Contact your patient without delay and see them at their earliest convenience.
  • Discuss all treatment options with your patient; keeping you informed every step of the way.
  • Provide your patient with comprehensive treatment plans and estimates for each suggested treatment option
  • Carry out only the specialist treatment for which you have referred your patient.
  • Return your patient to you to resume their routine dental care following their specialist treatment with us.
  • Keep you informed of changes or additions to your patient's treatment plan.

Dental Implants and Oral Surgery

Dr Vish Anand BDS, LDS, RCS, MBBS

GDC no. 63942

Dr Vish Anand qualified as a dentist in 1988 and as a doctor in 1997, both from Kings College Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry.

He spent 6 months after his initial qualification year in Restorative, Prosthetics and Periodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital and subsequently, several years in full-time Oro-maxillo facial surgery. He went on to complete the senior house surgeon General Surgical Oxford rotation including Plastic Surgery, ENT, Orthopaedics, Renal Transplantation, Accident and Emergency and General Surgery.

He has been placing dental implants for over 20 years and has taught and lectured on the subject for several years.

Orthodontics

Dr Meera Ruperalia BDS (Hons), MJDF, MClinDent (Merit), MOrth

GDC no. 114274

Meera qualified from Guy's Kings and St. Thomas' in 2007 and worked within general dentistry before Specialising In Orthodontics.

Before her specialist training, Meera worked in the Maxillo-facial department at the John Radcliffe and Royal Berkshire hospitals and then went onto qualify as a specialist Orthodontist from the Eastman Dental Institute in 2013.

During Meera's career, she has worked in multi-disciplinary teams within the NHS and Privately. She takes great pride in her work and is a perfectionist.

Endodontics

Dr Akeel Sharafali BDS

GDC no. 969892

Dr Sharafali graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2012 and has since worked in general practice where he developed a passion for Endodontics. He has completed a Masters in Endodontics at the prestigious Kings' College London. He believes in delivering the best standard of care with the least discomfort for the patient. He has a caring manner and strives to keep nervous patients feel at ease.

Laser Dentistry

Dr David Paul BDS

GDC no. 74835

David gained his Certificate in Laser Dentistry in 2015.

Post qualification, David had the opportunity to practice electrosurgery on a regular basis. This involved periodontal and crown lengthening procedures and operculectomies.

Having taken the Laser course, David expanded on some of the treatment options.

He uses a 5 Watt Diode Laser - the precision of this instrument in exceptional!

Treatments involve gum and mucosal remodelling under local anaesthetic.
